The Academy of Hospitality and Tourism prepares students academically for careers in the hospitality industry. It provides classroom experiences, field trips, on-the-job training, internships, lectures, personal development seminars, hands-on computer experience, and college level credit which culminate in the receiving of a special Certificate of Travel Related Studies at the time of graduation. Course offerings include geography, systems applications for business and leisure travel, travel destinations, economics, meeting and event planning.
